Welcome!
I am a plant systematist and evolutionary biologist with a broad interest in the patterns and processes that shape plant biodiversity. In particular, my research focuses on using robust phylogenetic hypotheses to understand evolutionary drivers and consequences of processes such as hybridization and polyploidy. My research integrates a variety of tools and approaches, including phylogenetics, bioinformatics, and field-based and herbarium collections.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Princess Therese von Bayern chair for Systematics, Biodiversity & Evolution of Plants at LMU Munich in Germany.
