Systematics | Phylogenetics | Evolution | Biodiversity

Welcome!

I am a plant systematist and evolutionary biologist with a broad interest in the patterns and processes that shape plant biodiversity. In particular, my research focuses on using robust phylogenetic hypotheses to understand evolutionary drivers and consequences of processes such as hybridization and polyploidy. My research integrates a variety of tools and approaches, including phylogenetics, bioinformatics, and field-based and herbarium collections.

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota.
